SafeTTy Outsource™ services
We offer a SafeTTy Outsource™ service, where we perform the software development activity for our customer (including organising qualification by a third-party assessor, where required).
Based on state-of-the-art TT architectures, our design solutions include an appropriate ReliabiliTTy® licence.
We provide further information about our SafeTTy Outsource service on this page.
We also offer SafeTTy Solutions™ packages: these involve us working with our customer’s development team to deliver the product software.

Developing software for safety-related and safety-critical systems
The SafeTTy Outsource service is primarily intended to support the development of products in compliance with international standards and guidelines, such as:
- Industrial / Machinery: IEC 61508 (to ‘SIL 3’) and / or ISO 13849 (‘PL e’);
- Automotive: ISO 26262 (to ‘ASIL D’);
- Medical systems: IEC 62304 (to ‘Class C’);
- Household goods: IEC 60730 (‘Class C’).
We have released information about recent customer projects that illustrates what we do.
We are also happy to discuss support for other standards: please contact us.
Deliverables
We can deliver some or all of the following through our SafeTTy Outsource service:
- Software (for both a ReliabiliTTy platform and the application), including full source code;
- Hardware designs (including FMEDAs, where required); provided by our hardware partner ASRP-Systems;
- Any / all documentation required to achieve compliance with international safety standards;
- Support for independent certification (e.g. a ‘SIL 3’ or ‘ASIL D’ qualification by a recognised third-party assessor such as exida®).
We are happy to discuss other options: please contact us.
Starting the development process
We typically start a new project by reviewing your requirements documentation and holding a conference call. From this, we will draw up a formal quotation for you to consider.
Where no requirements documentation exists (or this documentation is incomplete) we will agree with you a fee for developing suitable documentation. Once this documentation has been created, you will be under no obligation to have us do further work on your project. Where required, we will provide a quotation for completing the project based on the refined requirements document.
We are always happy to discuss other options: please contact us.
